PHOENIX -- Two men were shot, one fatally, while riding motorcycles in North Phoenix on Saturday night, according to Officer James Holmes with the Phoenix Police Department.
It happened at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Bell Road near 15th Street.
"When officers arrived they found two young white males in their 20's in the roadway both suffering from gunshot injuries," said Phoenix Police Officer James Holmes.
One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
"We have no motive no suspects, but what we do have is lots of business in this area and we're looking for people who might have been in the area and seen what happened around 11 o’clock and who might not have talked to our police officers," said Officer Holmes.
Police said the victims were riding in a group of motorcycles westbound on Bell Road and approaching 15th Street when a person or people began shooting at the riders.
"They are wearing insignia for Hells Angels, we don't know if they're actual club members or associates, but they're obviously distraught as to what happened to their friends, we're not getting a whole lot of assistance from them because they don't know," said Officer Holmes.
The victims have not been positively identified and police do not have any details about the shooter or shooters.
Bell Road was closed until 9 a.m. Sunday.
Police ask if anybody happened to see anything leading up to the shooting to please give them a call.
