THE Darwin Rebels sergeant-at-arms is in a coma after he was run down during a confrontation with an associate of the outlaw bikie gang.
The NT News understands Shannon Althouse, 30, and another senior Rebel member had allegedly assaulted an associate in the industrial area with a weapon when his housemate returned home on Tuesday night.
Police believe the housemate ran down Althouse, who was driven to the Palmerston GP super clinic by the senior Rebel member.
He was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital by St John in a serious condition.
An RDH spokeswoman said Althouse remained in a serious but stable condition in intensive care last night.
Seven hours before he was run down the heavily tattooed Althouse posted a picture of himself in his spa drinking a Corona.
