Two high ranking Nomads bikie gang members arrested for 'trafficking of $750,000 worth of MDMA'

Two members, one high ranking, of Nomads bikie gang arrested this week
  • The high ranking member, 58, was extradited to NSW on Saturday
  • Pair were charged over alleged freighting of $750,000 worth of MDMA
  • The drugs allegedly were sent from Darwin to Sydney 
  •   Two members of the notorious Nomads bikie gang have been charged with trafficking $750,000 worth of MDMA.


    Based on a tip-off, police from the State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad intercepted a freight package from Darwin to Sydney allegedly carrying three kilograms of MDMA.


    A 58-year-old man was arrested at Darwin River in the Northern Territory, about 5pm on Thursday.
      The man is a high ranking member of the Nomads OMCG from Newcastle. He was charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of drug and extradited to NSW.
