A motorcycle gang member charged in the death of Dale Porter is scheduled to appear in court at Harbour Grace today.
53-year-old Al Potter is facing a charge of second degree murder in Porter's death two years ago in North River.
Potter is charged along with 35-year-old Daniel Leonard in Porter's death. Both Potter and Leonard are members of the Vikings motorcycle gang. Both men were charged in connection with a larger police investigation dubbed Operation Bombard, that resulted in twelve arrests and 58 charges related to illegal gang activity.
Police says Porter, the victim, had no associations with illegal gang activity.
