Mandurah bikie to appear in court on child porn charges

A PATCHED Comanchero Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) member from Lakelands was charged on Wednesday with child pornography offences.

The Western Australian National Anti-Gangs Squad (WA NAGS) and the WA Gang Crime Squad executed a search warrant at the 36-year-old man’s home on November 16.

He was also charged with failing to provide information and assistance.
Australian Federal Police state manager Commander Matt Rippon said this arrest would further disrupt the criminal activities of Comanchero members in WA.
“This arrest follows the incarceration of eight high-ranking Comanchero OMCG members and associates in November 2015 on extortion offences,” Commander Rippon said.
“The subsequent Comanchero leadership group was then arrested by the Gang Crime Squad in relation to a serious assault.
“The community can rest assured that our work to detect and disrupt these organised criminal syndicates will continue to be a top priority for law enforcement.”
The man was released on bail to appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday, December 9.
