An alleged Street Wolvez (link is external)motorcycle gang member is accused of knocking out a man at the Eagles Nest Rockin’ Country Bar. Thirty-year-old Shelton Lafee “Bronx” Feemster, of the 500 block of Liberty Court in Virginia Beach, was arrested on Sept. 7 and charged with malicious wounding and participating in gang activity, both of which are felony offenses.
The charges stem from a fight that allegedly happened on Dec. 3, 2016 at the bar, located at 1723 Parkview Drive in Chesapeake. Police believe the fight happened around 2 a.m. when two men approached a group of about five alleged Street Wolvez gang members and began talking to them.
One witness said that Feemster came out of no where and hit the victim in the head, knocking him unconscious, according to documents filed in Virginia Beach Circuit Court. Another witness, who caught part of the altercation on camera, told police he heard a “pop,” then turned around to watch the victim spin and fall to the ground, court documents state.
The fall left a bleeding gash on the victim’s head. He laid on the ground motionless and bleeding, but no one from the Street Wolvez gang helped him or called an ambulance, court documents allege.
The witness also said he’d seen Feemster and the victim get into an argument, but it was broken up by Eagles Nest security. One witness — who was friends with the victim — said he became upset and another gang member pinned him to a column of the building and told him he should calm down or the situation would get worse. Another alleged Street Wolvez member, who was working security at the bar, came over to the victim’s friend and the men got into a yelling match, court documents state.
After the fight, Feemster and other alleged Street Wolvez members went to their motorcycles and fled the scene before the victim got any medical attention. Feemster was allegedly riding a motorcycle with Washington state license plates, which police later identified as belonging to him, court documents allege.
Police wrote in the court documents that the fight and the gang members fleeing the scene left “patrons and security in a panic.” When interviewed by police, Street Wolvez members said that Feemster was the person who attacked the victim, and that the gang had been banned from the Eagle’s Nest because Feemster had “knocked a guy out,” according to court documents.
The Street Wolvez motorcycle club formed in Norfolk in November 2015. They support the Chosen Few Outlaw Motorcycle Club, which according to police is a “known criminal gang.”
According to their website (link is external), the Chosen Few Outlaw Motorcycle Club began in Los Angeles in 1959.
