Police briefing on outlaw biker clubs in Nova Scotia, Canada

At a July 16, 2018, meeting of the Halifax Board of Police Commissioners, two police officers gave a detailed presentation on outlaw motorcycle cubs active in Nova Scotia, a province on Canada’s East Coast.

Det. Const. Mike Carter of the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia (CISNS) and Const. Scott Morrison of the Nova Scotia Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) spoke about well-known clubs such as the Hells Angels, Bacchus and Outlaws and prominent support clubs, including Red Devils and Black Pistons, to lesser-known clubs such as the Mountain Men, Niners, Darksiders, Highlanders, Gate Keepers and the improbably named Katt Sass MC. Outlaw bikers are becoming more common in the province, encompassing between 100 and 200 active members, they said.
