WA Police out in force as 100 bikies attend funeral of fallen Outlaws club member

About 100 bikies and their associates have been monitored closely by police from Kenwick to Pinnaroo today during a funeral for a dead bikie member.

Up to 40 police kept a close eye on the bikies as the massive contingent of riders made their way to the two locations.

It’s understood today’s funeral was for a member of the Outlaws bikie gang.
Detective Superintendent Tony Longhorn said between 35 and 40 officers watched the bikies closely and managed them through various roads to ensure they followed road rules.
“We received information that a funeral was going to happen today...it was a number of clubs (involved) but predominantly the Outlaws motorcycle gang,” he said.
“Historically there is a disregard for the road rules for these particular individuals.”

But Det-Supt Longhorn said the bikies had been well behaved so far.
All of their activities and movements had been filmed.
“There was no incidents reported (but) we will have a police presence throughout the evening, we will monitor their activities,” he said.
