Another five men were also charged who were allegedly after safe combination

The alleged national president of the Lone Wolf motorcycle gang has been charged with the kidnapping of a Belgian model and her businessman boyfriend.

Police allege the six men dressed in police uniforms and used a battering ram to break into an industrial estate unit where Belgian model Caroll Dufailly and her boyfriend Eduardus Groenewegen were staying.

Each of the six men have been charged with 16 offences including robbery, extortion and kidnapping, with Singh’s solicitor telling The Gold Coast Bulletin he would defend the charges.

The men, who were wearing balaclavas, yelled ‘search warrant’ as they stormed the unit in Ipswich and were carrying rifles with the butt of one being used to strike Mr Groenewegen in the head, a court previously heard.

Brodie Singh is one of six men with alleged links to the club that police have charged over the incident in south-east Queensland on October 25, 2019.

The pair were forced into a white van, where Ms Dufailly’s eyes and mouth were covered with duct tape and Mr Groenewegen was interrogated about the combination to a safe in the unit, police say.

The court heard the pair were driven around for hours while the men attempted to ascertain the combination to the safe, which they allegedly took from the unit.

Among the threats police allege were directed at Mr Groenewegen were the men telling him: ‘If you’re not gonna talk, we’re gonna have to rape your sexy girlfriend.’

‘We are gonna put a bullet in your brain, we are gonna put a bullet in your girlfriend’s brain,’ they also allegedly told him.

‘If you’re not going to start talking we are going to set the van on fire with you in it.’ the men allegedly told him before pouring a substance, believed to be ammonia over him.

Eventually the pair were allegedly dumped in bushland with Ms Dufailly running to a nearby house for help as Mr Groenewegen remained unconscious.

Alleged patched members of the Lone Wolf gang Nathan Miller, Saleh Atasoy and Mark Atta Singh were charged along with Singh and have indicated they will defend the charges.

Alleged associates Justin Kuhner and Jordan Brennan were also charged.
