Gardai have seized a fleet of high-powered motorbikes in a dawn swoop on members of a biker gang with Kinahan cartel links.

Two men were arrested following the raids on the fortified HQ used by bikers associated with a club known as the Chosen Few.

The searches were carried out by the Criminal Assets Bureau on a compound in Crumlin, South Dublin, after officers cut through sheets of steel to gain access.

They were backed up by heavily armed members of the Armed Response Unit, Air Support, local detectives and the customs dog unit.

CAB seized 10 top-of-the-range motorcycles including a Harley-Davidson and BMW.

Also nabbed in the raid was a BMW car, Ford Ranger jeep, Volkswagen Scirocco and €4,000 in cash.

The operation was part of a major money laundering probe targeting a small number of rogue biker gang members.
