Rivals busted for Bandidos biker boss's murder

Two members of a rival criminal organization are under arrest for the slaying of a chapter president of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club. The Mob Reporter here with news of a raid and a large search for what investigators in New South Wales, Australia, describe as a rivalry between two criminal groups that escalated from conflict and threats to murder. Shane De Britt, a bear of a man who was a long-time biker and enthusiastic member of the Bandidos, was killed inside his farmhouse on Jan. 14, 2020. At the time, he was president of the Bandidos Central West Chapter, known by his fellow bikers as Bandido Wock. An investigation led police on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, to a sprawling, and rather beautiful rural property less than 30 miles from De Britt’s home. There they arrested two men, one age 58 and another 39. The property required a substantial search — by air and ground, using dogs, marine unit divers and lots of cops with rakes. The older man was charged with murder; the younger one with accessory after the fact to murder. He was arrested wearing a shirt for Iron Jack, an Australian beer. They were not alone in this plot, investigators said. The head of the homicide squad wouldn’t say whether it was a rival biker club, but alleged they were part of a criminal group in conflict with the Bandidos. There has been a lot of action among Australia’s crowded outlaw motorcycle club scene in recent years, leading to rivalries that must be keeping both bikers and cops busy.
