Martin was shot dead at Kwinana Motorplex in Perth on Saturday night in front of hundreds of fellow spectators. It’s believed he was shot by a sniper.
He received a single gunshot wound to the torso at around 8.40pm.
It’s believed a gunshot fired from a distance killed the bikie and injured others, including a five-year-old boy.
The boy was treated for minor injuries while another bikie, 31-year-old Ricky Chapman, was seriously wounded.
Police fear the shooting could escalate tensions between rival motorcycle gangs.
The government is offering a huge reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the fatal shooting.
“The offering of this reward is a measure of how seriously the government takes this matter and I urge anyone who knows anything, to disregard manufactured codes of silence designed to protect the guilty,” a statement from WA Police Minister Michelle Roberts said.
“Because by speaking the truth, they will make our community a safer place.”
