Prosecutor: Marion West Virginia jury convicts county Pagans Motorcycle Club president of murder

A Marion County jury has convicted the president of the Marion County Pagans Motorcycle Club of first-degree murder with mercy, according to Prosecutor Jeff Freeman.

The jury also convicted James Ryan Vincent, 32, of malicious assault and conspiracy to commit that crime, according to Freeman.

The trial lasted five days, with the jury returning its verdict in an hour in the homicide of Luka Grabb, according to Freeman.

Grabb was shot for times in the legs at Vincent’s residence off Pricketts Fort Road near Fairmont, according to Freeman.

Grabb then was loaded into an SUV and dumped along Pinch Gut Hollow Road, where he was found about 1 1/2 hours later, according to Freeman.

Grabb died en route to Fairmont Regional Medical Center, according to Freeman.

Four others previously were convicted and sentenced on various felony offenses, Freeman said.

Freeman’s assistant, Joseph T. Hodges III, also handled the case for the state.

Tom and Zach Dyer represented Vincent.
