Mongols MC 2022 Co-Founder: Things I Can't Talk About

Big Al Aceves co-founded the Mongols Motorcycle Club (MongolsMC) in 1969. As the club's sergeant at arms, he rode hard and laid down the law his way. In this video, Al speaks about his years of addiction to heroin and other dangerous drugs. He also tells of battles with rival gangs, like the Hells Angels and clashes with police. He had been a criminal all his life begining in his early teens. Al was asked to serve his country in the military and willingly enlisted to fight in the Vietnam War. Because Al at that time was a heartless warrior he agreed to walk "Point" for his platoon. Walking Point means being the first person in front of the entire platoon as they advance through enemy territory. What was terrifying to most was exciting to Big Al. These acts of bravery and heartless violence shaped the man Big Al would become. In this story Al tells of his transition from violent hardened killer to a disciple of God sharing the word and using the power of prayer to help others in need.
According to Al, "My gift from God is prayer; if you need prayer, I will pray for you."
