El Chapo, also known as Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera, has terrorized both Mexico and the United States for almost three decades one of the world's most powerful, violent, and dangerous drug lords, almost equaling Pablo Escobar in stature. Guzman has repeatedly and ingeniously avoided being apprehended or extradited, but not anymore. As a result of the fbi's superb work following his recent detention a few years ago, a conviction was handed down by the court, which drastically alters the life of the infamous drug lord.
