Weird thing about LockBit ransomware bust


A Russian man called one of the world’s most prolific ransomware operators was arrested in Canada. When cops raided his suburban home they caught him at a table in the garage with an open laptop and restrained him before he could lock his computer. Access to that gave information used by FBI agents to request his extradition.

  1. The weird thing about it is that he was set up by the CIA. The CIA are the ones behind the ransomware attacks. It's how they raise money.
