Police smash Gypsy Joker's Maddington clubhouse

A late-night police pursuit that unfolded in Perth's south-east involving a group of Gypsy Joker bikies and the WA Police's gang response team, resulted in the arrest of more than a dozen bikies and Gypsy Joker Associates. The incident began around 10 pm on Friday 9th of February 2024, when police observed several Harley Davidson motorcycles riding aggressively on Great Eastern Highway in Midland, their registration plates obscured, covered or patched up to avoid detection. Following this the police air wing was swiftly deployed, adding aerial support to the ground units, as officers from the gang response team mobilized to intercept the individuals near the intersection of Kelvin Road and Tonkin Highway in Maddington. The chase continued for about 10 minutes and concluded when the motorcycles stopped at a property approximately 2.5km away from where it had started, specifically at 10 Lower Park Road in Maddington. This property is believed to be the Gypsy Jokers clubhouse, the notorious hangout spot for the bikie club since around 2018.
